Synthesis of Ag <sub>2</sub>O Nanoparticles via Fresh Pomegranate Peel Extract for Bioapplications

Fresh pomegranate peel extract was employed to synthesize silver oxide nanoparticles (Ag2O NPs). Rapid formation of stable Ag2O NPs observed on exposure the aqueous fresh with solution AgNO3. The were characterized by X-ray analysis, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), ultraviolet–visible (UV–Vis) spectroscopy, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). diffraction (XRD) confirmed that forming NP has a crystalline size 37 nm, while SEM micrographs revealed comparatively spherical shape, ~ 64 nm. spectrum displayed peak in visible range blue shift at 461 nm corresponding Plasmon absorbance nanoparticles. Four bacterial strains one type fungus tested using NPs. results showed negative influence growth rate, thus implying significance present study production biomedical products.
